Roseville

Roseville cottage was a small, single storey dwelling situated at the entrance to our Sports Centre on Waterstown Avenue. We were extremely happy to receive an approach from Mr. Brian Greene and Mrs. Pat Blair with a view to raising funds needed to construct a new building on the site, offering ten apartments to our service users. The apartments have been built and were officially opened in October 2007 and ten of our residents now happily reside in their own individual apartments.
Each apartment allows for the maximum of personal space, with shared areas for social interaction when required. Proximity to the Palmerstown campus and Sports Centre mean that support is close to hand if needed.

The generosity of the benefactors of this project, who gave so freely of their time, talents and funds, has enabled Stewarts Foundation to move towards providing a new model of independent living to our residents. The success of Roseville has generated a momentum for change, which will see new housing projects developing throughout 2008.
