Clinical Services

The Clinic is located on the Campus of Stewarts Hospital Services Ltd., Palmerstown, Dublin, 20. Services are provided in a range of locations: campus, day services, clinics, clients homes, mainstream sites and are available to all age groups.

Services Provided:

• Assessment
• Therapeutic services to persons with mental handicap (individual and group) and their families.
• Consultation service to frontline staff, family members and management.
• Service Evaluation.Training Programmes.

Access to Services / Eligibility Criteria:

Children and adults who have or are suspected of having a learning disabilities are referred to the Clinical Director by General Practitioners, Community Care Medical Officers and Paediatricians for assessment. Those already within the services can access individual clinic services in a variety of ways (including referral from Clinic Team Members, Day Service Team Leaders, Living Unit Heads, Family Members, Stewarts School Teachers or Self- Referral).
